Work Portfolio

A Vintage 1972 Guild F-112 12 String that had loose binding and needed some long needed time in proper humidity as it appeared very dry, also in need of a setup. This was an awesome piece of history to service!

Here is a Martin 000C-15 RGTE that was in need of a fret dress and setup plus a deep clean. This was a pleasure to service and a very beautiful sounding guitar! It really came to life after the job was complete!

A 15 minute setup for a client of mine. Adjusting the truss rod, action and intonation, plus a quick electronics cleaning and this bass was ready for the road!

When I recieved this mid 1930s National Style “O” Dobro it was very rough to say the least. It was missing the tailpiece as well a missing nut and seized tuning machines. As a certified luthier I hold every project I do to the highest standard weather it’s an economy budget instrument or a rare piece of folk music history such as this. I cleaned each working component in detail by hand to ensure proper performance. I crafted a bone nut from a blank to perfectly dial in the string spacing and more. Ordered a new factory OM tailpiece from national to match the well earned patina on the instrument. I did a total setup and fret dress. Buffed the entire body lightly to remove any rust and surface scratches. Removed any dents from the cone and cleaned the inside housing of the instrument and did minor structural repair. This was an amazing opportunity to service and breathe life into!

Here is a 1970s Crestline acoustic guitar. It was in need of a setup and humidification recovery. Another amazing time capsole to have at the bench.

Here is a Tenson Ukeulele that needed a fresh fingerboard cleaning and re-string. A nice little piece to service.

Here is Gretsch Resonator that had a loose input jack as well as needing a setup and fingerboard cleaning. I always enjoy having resonators at the bench!

A 1920s Gibson L-1.. one of the “holy grails” in my book. Another breathing taking time capsule. I did a basic set up and few small crack repairs.
